Welcome! Queenie Chan is a manga artist and graphic novelist who has worked with various International Publishing Houses. She is a writer-artist who has published a number of books, one of which has hit #1 on the New York Times Bestseller List for Graphic Novels, and she has also written many short stories, some of which can be read on this site.
I like to write essays, when I find the time. I’ve always thought I’ll be an academic if I weren’t drawing manga, so I never hesitate to shoot off at the mouth at whatever topic of interest that concerns me for the moment. When I first got a blog, I used to write stuff all the time, but now it’s slowed down considerably due to lack of time. Still, I have a collection of blog posts here that I believe to be of interest to others.
