TOKYOPOP is running a “Rising Stars of Prose” competition, using “The Dreaming” series as the springboard basis. The competition runs from the 1st February to the 15th April, and winner are eligible for cash prizes and a possible publishing contract. I’ve posted an LJ journal entry about this.

“In Odd We Trust” out in mid-July 2008 ›

“In Odd We Trust” is finished, and due for release by Del Ray in mid-July this year. It’s going to be officially launched at the San-Diego Comic-Con, where Dean Koontz will be spotlight guest this year, and I’ll be attending as well.

This is a single-volume manga that is a collaboration between Dean Koontz and I. It’s a prequel to the best-selling “Odd Thomas” novels, which so far has 3 books (out of 6) including “Forever Odd” and “Brother Odd”.

The Dreaming Book 3: This was originally coming out in November, but now it’s coming out in December. There’s a reason for this… there’s going to be a secret at the back of this volume. I’m not supposed to breathe details out on the Internet, but this is the reason for the 1-month delay. I assure you, it’s for a good reason!

I’m still working on “Odd Thomas”, a single-graphic novel prequel to the “Odd Thomas” trilogy of books by Dean Koontz. Currently Chapters 1–4 are complete, with the rest of the script approved. I’m halfway through chapter 4 right now. There’s still an interview up at Jazma Online about me and Odd Thomas, thanks to Allen Klingelhoets.

I haven’t been able to update it lately, since I’ve started working “Odd Thomas” with Del Ray. “The Dreaming” v3 is rocking along well, I’ve got 1 chapters left to tone and that’s it.
